oh man we're all already in j1/poly. gosh. years have passed by real fast! imagine that. 3 years! haha hey i've got a coolio idea for next year's 27th march.
if you'll can't remember or can't guess what date that is, well,
it was the day that we (or you guys, cause i had competition so i wasn't there) performed our class cheer :) the cheer is still somewhere on this blog and i think it's a really awsum cheer, i haven't heard one that tops it yet (my school's cheers are SO hard to remember. all i can rmb is ra-ra-ra-raffles heee.)
i think on 27th March 2010 (yes, the year of the singapore yog!) we should all do our cheer. like this years national day pledge moment. :) what dyou guys think? still got the gygroove?
anyway, i was thinking, end of this year (k i know i always say but never do or organise meetups) we REALLY should meet up. 3 years is no joke. maybe catch a movie or smth. and! we really should record our dramafest act. i read the script and revelled in the memories. it was great :) and i realised our script was totally off tangent from the given topic 'there's no business like showbusiness'. but really i didn't care about the winning part. i think we all had fun. it was pretty rad.
i still love you all very much, and 2gy will always hold a large special part of my heart.
i'm supposed to be doing a 'personal best experience of leadership' and i'm going to use being the class rep of 2gy as my example.
i mean who could ask for more?
to be part of this wonderful class was more than enough.
to be chosen to lead it,
now that
was a real honour :)
thank you all for making my experience in 2gy part of my sweetest memories of sc.
and i know i got angry alot of times :
but now i still get angry but i find it harder to scold people cause people say i'm so smiley they can't take me seriously. oh well. i will try. and do 2gy proud ;)

i know these 2 years are really busy for the jc students (don't know bout the poly students, sorry!). we can really get into full swing after a levels! and really keep our class, or at least the memory of us, alive.

we will be having a class gathering after o's! since some people might be going on holidays etc after o's, i need you to find some way to tell me or elyn what days you will be going on holiday -via sms, tagboard, email
email preferred though. and to avoid any confusions, put the title as 2gyo6.

we're planning to have a movie marathon and some crazy games yeah. so no swimming around again! but i can't guarantee that you will stay completely dry ;)

this whole song is sooo true for me(: for one thing. 2gy still turns me on! hahahaha. okay weird. but yes we've all moved on, its totally inevitable. thing is, will you remember the last class you were in before you graduated or the class that made the most impact? (okay im being biased here) haha i'll definitely remember 2gy always. well for one thing, it was the only time where i sat alone for a few months and i was BOTH pe rep and class rep. yeah and when i say i dont really like my present class its because ive already experienced 2gy now that i know what a really (almost) perfect class can be like, my class is just like -. haha no comment. but really really realllly. if i didnt experience 2gy, i think my life would be lacking alot. im class rep again this year, (i miss being a pe rep :'( its the only secondary year im not pe rep) but i will never, ever be able to recreate what we felt during and after as the class of 2gy. i could say we were the underdogs.. we were neither the really super smart nor those who were more talented in other areas (which explained our um weird sports day lineup) we didnt have the loudest people in the class (except maybe zay, sub, jan, rachel lee..) but i have to agree we were really hardworking and uh enthu! if you notice, nowadays the people i still talk to from my previous classes were mostly from 2gy. i dont really get to interact much with 1se people except for those in my class (namely, caroline, subha, shijie, abby, zhao, karyn... oh dear my memory is failing. i cant remember anymore im sorry!) my class may have the most 2gy people but its too diluted. heh. (notice i use 2gy not ex 2gy) :\ and our only class party was quite pathetic (less than half came) but still, we're amazing. remember, our award winning aces day performance? the 'award winning idea' came from someone more on the quiet side, GERMAINE! who's now in NJ boohoo. and our cool cheer? and best of all, our talentime. sure we went through lots of practices and we took a long time to decide on our final idea, but you guys pulled through, and i have to admit im proud of you guys. and i hope you'll never forget 2gy.
because, without 2gy, a part of me is missing
because, 2gy will always be with you in here(your heart)
because, no matter what you do, 2gy will always love you.
and i mean, ALWAYS.

hey 2gy! i'm sick! so i'm at home resting while all of you (or most of you at least)are taking your chem test today! good luck! haha i really miss 2gy. i think we were THE most proper class, and when i say that i mean that i mean we were really truly bonded, not like some class who claimed that they were bonded (haha im so evil.) but you still see lots and lots of conflicts and cliques (yes we were kinda cliquish but our cliques tended to merge or mix at certain points of the year)guess what song im listening to? im listening to I Don't Love You-My Chemical Romance. the chorus is like: I don't love you, like i loved you, yesterday. i think that's really true for 2gy as in it can go both ways. maybe some of you have moved on and just treated 2gy as 'just another class' (i can't blame you, i mean we are really busy people and may not have that much time to keep in touch) and then there are others who appreciate 2gy more than ever, like they say you'll never realise how much something is worth until you lose it. i'm not saying 2gy is lost, we're just all not in the same class anymore. but we're still 2gy no matter what (: oh mans, the year is passing by even faster than last year. soon we'll be taking our o levels XP yes.i'm sorry that i reminded you! do you think that when we reach pre-u (jc,poly) we'll still look back and remember 2gy the way it was? or forget all the substance and just remember the name 2gy? let me tell you, 2gy'o6 isn't just any class, it isn't just a label or a name. It was OUR class, consisting of ALL of you, and we didn't just produce homework, projects and tests, we were a product ourselves, of 2gy'o6. So tell me now, what's your definition of 2gy'o6? Will you look back fondly at all the memories? or forget them? i hope you won't (:

helloo! KUNgFU FIGHTERS! haha i am here to brief you on the song. hhaa here are the lyrics but i dont know if theyll help much.. Scene 1: at home, arrival of newborn baby.

Ang: like omigosh! Like Urm dear! I like totally can’t wait to see how our son looks like!

Urm: relax, honey! [Doorbell rings] ah. Must be our delivery!

FedEx man: good day, sir! I’m from fedEx, and we [salutes] live to deliver. [goes back to normal] anyway, here’s your package. Sign here, here, here, and here. [points at paper]

Urm: okay dude! [Signs]

[FedEx man lugs a basket in]

Ang: like omigosh! I can’t wait to see our son! Open it! Open it!

Urm opens the cloth slowly.

Reveals the baby.

Urm and Ang: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Urm lifts baby up and throws in the air.

Baby starts to laugh nerdily [from backstage]
Ang: Urm dear, like, what did you just so totally do?

Urm: honey, I nerdified the kid!

[Look at each other]

Scene 2: at the living room, 13 years later.

[Turns paper all around, upside down]

Dren Pitt: [runs down nerdily] [pulls pants up] whats the problem? [look around, pauses] how may I be your great assistant, dad?

Dren: [lifts it right in front of his face] dear Mr and mrs Pitt. We are pleased to tell you that your son has been accepted into our pogwarts school of popularity and unpopularity. Because you are, of course, our alumni. However, we require your son to try on this sorting hat.

Ang: (cuts in) Oh, like this small hat totally fits my head! That’s means I have lost weight! [poses ad admire her figure to the audience]

Dren: [continues] if your son’s head can fit the hat, he is therefore stupid, and POPULAR! If he can’t fit, I’m afraid he will be unpopular. P.S: since both of you are our most POPULAR school athletes, we made the hat EXTRA small, trusting your son will follow for foot steps!

Ang: [plops small hat on top of Dren] Dren! Like, force this in your head! SQUEEZE! SQUEEZE!

Urm: dang! Why won’t the hat fit! Well, go to school then! Wait! Another thing! [Thrusts another letter] and here’s some money! [Gives A LOT of money and a BIG credit card]

Dren: book list: for the popular people: cheerleading grade 1, guide to extreme popularity, popularity 101, how to eat tasty dirt. wand: cheerleading baton! COOL! Book list: for unpopular people: the study of the creation of nerds, nerd politics: why WE should be the popular, nerd 101, computer science and the discovery of nerdified subjects. wand: electronic antennae.

Dren: [laughs to himself nerdily] this is going to be so fun! [picks up school bag and put it on really high] [pulls pants, scratches butt and sniffs]

Urm: DUDE. The Poshcars are like tonight, k? remember to wear something pre…

Dren: Pre…presentable?

Urm: oh yeah. I so knew that. Preshuntable.

Ang: [click tongue] yes, and stop wearing those suspenders!

Dren: yes mom, bye! I will miss you both!

Urm: Like yea yea whatever. [waves hand]

Scene 3: along the corridor

[dren is standing outside the school corridor waiting for the bell to ring, smiles nerdily and says hi to everyone he sees]

[ the N.E.R.D club walks over]

Nerd pres: [points finger at Dren] you there! [laughs nerdily] fellow nerder! How would you like to join our N.E.R.D club? It is the Never Eat Real Dirt Club! [pulls pants, scratches butt and sniffs]

Dren: thank you for your offer, but ah

Nerd pres: but ah what? But the NERD force is strong with you! You were born to be like a nerd! Like us! See, [pulls pants, scratches butt and sniffs]

Dren: [ stares and did the same thing] oh gosh! Wow! [ laughs nerdily] [pauses and think] but I want to be popular!

Nerd mem: nonono! That word is censured in our club! [whispers] donâ€™t ever say that word [pauses and look around] P-O-P-U-L-A-R! Say PEEP! [laughs nerdily with other members]

Popular girl [Gretchen] : Like omigosh! I can so spell, right?

Karen [the dumb one]: well, I don’t

Two other popular girls responded: oh yea, like duh. We are the clever but mean girls, right? [laugh bimbotically]

Nerd pres: isin it nerd spelt backwards? So cool!

Popular girl: like, oh yea, but it is still gross!

[school bell rings]

dren: sorry, I got to go sign up for my cca now.

[dren runs off]

Scene 4: in the drama room

Drama seniors: this way up! In search for new drama members to replace us, the [pose] charlie’s drama angels!

Dren: [laughs nerdily] cool!

Drama seniors: eew. Na-ah. HE’s not so NOT going to be an angel!
[shakes heads]

drama teacher: helloz. I’m Charlie. And I am in charge of zee angelz. Welcome to your auditionz. Now Dren darling. Come, come, come. Just standz over herez and say this: I amz a charliez angel. I’ve got the zhape, ztyle, and the skillz!

Dren: ERR. [Dumbfounded]

Camera flashes all around. Ang and urm walk gracefully.

Men black 1: whoa, whoa, boy. No invitation, no Poshcars. You must be some fan!

Dren: I’m their son.

Both men in black: snort in laughter.

Announcer: and now, coming in, is their son, Dren Pitt!

Dren pulls free from men in black, scratches his butt and pulls his pants really high.

Other celeb 1: [walk past] omigosh, who’s that?

Other celeb 2: this is soâ€¦ SOCIAL SUICIDE. Ugh!

Other celeb 3: imagine, if we were like THAT

They push Dren in the toilet and lock the door.
Start laughing.

Toilet aunty walks by.

Toilet aunty unlocks the door. Dren sprawls out.

Toilet aunty: boy! Why are you so stupid to lock yourself in the toilet?! It’s a girl’s one somemore! [laughs like a geisha]

Dren: huh? [scratches head] oh. Sorry.

Scene 7: field

Cheerleaders do a cheer.
Rugby players pile on top of each other.

Dren: HOIYA! [does karate moves]

Cheerleaders look at him for one second, and start talking to themselves.

Cheerleader: like, I got this like totally smooth mud mask, its like soooo totally me, and the mud is soooooo totally smooth and creamy Im gonna buy a hundred packets of it!

Rest of the cheerleaders: COOL! [giggle]

Rugby players: oomph! Gerrof me! I can feel too much dirt in my mouth! Ugh!

Dren: wow, the rugby players and cheerleaders, they eat real dirt! [Ponders]

Dren: oh! I get it!

Walks around and pretends to do karate moves to attract popular peoples attention. Falls on mud [a mud pile].

All the popular people rush to him and start talking to him.

Scene8 : orchard road

[Dren is walking along the road and may pretty girls stop to stare at him, some even whistled]

[rushes to Dren and tap his shoulders from the back]

[ A director sees dren and stops him]

The director Educating Dren on showbiz

Director: Now over here, we have our live entertainment section, made up of Dance (dance)…Drama(Juliet Juliet where fore art thou)…Opera(sing in opera-like voice)… and Magic(attempt to make something disappear)
And over here, is our music industry, made up of Composers and Songwriters(scribble like mad, chew on pencil)…Orchestras(conductor conducts) and Singers and Musicians(band play a few notes)
You do know that these are not the only components of show business right? There is still…the publishing industry, the exhibition entertainment (rattles off)Don't you think theres no other business in the world like showbusiness?

Dren keeps going (yeah. Yeah. Sure. Whatever. I knew that)

Director: And if you wanna earn da big bucks, you gotta have a change of name… what do you suggest?

Dren: (suddenly alert)I was thinking, by combining my parents names together… I shall be called ARM THE arm pitt. (flexes arms, evil laughter, lights flash on and off)

Director: Splendid indeed! (twirls mustache[if he has one]) Your name will be in the lights! (hand gestures) I can see it now! The Arm Pitt!

Scene 10: Poshcars

Dren: ERR. [Dumbfounded]

Scene 5: at the posh cars.

Announcer: and here… is the most famous couple ever to grace the red carpet of the 67th Poshcars award ceremony! ANG AND URM PITT!

Camera flashes all around. Ang and urm walk gracefully.

Men black 1: whoa, whoa, boy. No invitation, no Poshcars. You must be some fan!

Dren: I’m their son.

Both men in black: snort in laughter.

Announcer: and now, coming in, is their son, Dren Pitt!

Dren pulls free from men in black, scratches his butt and pulls his pants really high.

Other celeb 1: [walk past] omigosh, who’s that?

Other celeb 2: this is so… SOCIAL SUICIDE. Ugh!

Other celeb 3: imagine, if we were like THAT…

Other celeb 4: its totally gonna ruin my socialite life!

Other celeb 5: poor ang pitt! She must have married the wrong man!

Urm: eh-hem. [very loudly]

Men in black 2: no discreet discrimination is allowed at the Poshcars. I’m sorry but you have to leave.

Three of them rush off.

Announcer: wow, looks like the threesome are running off! Too embarrassed of their nerdy son, eh? [Everybody laughs]

Scene 6: next day in school
Popular guy: hey, Dren. [Pushes him]
Saw you on TV yesterday, about the Poshcars thing. trying to feel the red carpet? Did it feel nice?

Dren: [eagerly] did you like it?

Popular guy: oooh, yes we all liked it, didn’t we? We also like your face in the toilet bowl!

They push Dren in the toilet and lock the door.
Start laughing.

Dren: hey open up! Open up!

Popular people walk off.

Toilet aunty walks by.

Dren: help me! I’m gonna die…

Toilet aunty unlocks the door. Dren sprawls out.

Toilet aunty: boy! Why are you so stupid to lock yourself in the toilet?! It’s a girl’s one somemore! [laughs like a geisha]

Dren: huh? [scratches head] oh. Sorry.

Toilet aunty: you don’t even have muscles! [leans forward] come, I tell you something. Actually, I learnt shoalin kungfu before! So you can learn from me! So HOIYA! [Karate leg chop in the air].

Dren: intriguing! Teach me!

Scene 7: field

Cheerleaders do a cheer.
Rugby players pile on top of each other.

Dren: HOIYA! [does karate moves]

Cheerleaders look at him for one second, and start talking to themselves.

Cheerleader: like, I got this like totally smooth mud mask, its like soooo totally me, and the mud is soooooo totally smooth and creamy I’m gonna buy a hundred packets of it!

Rest of the cheerleaders: COOL! [giggle]

Rugby players: oomph! Gerrof me! I can feel too much dirt in my mouth! Ugh!

Dren: wow, the rugby players and cheerleaders, they eat real dirt! [Ponders]

Dren: oh! I get it!

Walks around and pretends to do karate moves to attract popular people’s attention. Falls on mud [a mud pile].

Dren: AH! My like, totally unhot spectacles are like broken! [gropes head] and my head… feels smaller! I feel…. POPULAR!

All the popular people rush to him and start talking to him.

Scene8 : orchard road

[Dren is walking along the road and may pretty girls stop to stare at him, some even whistled]

mean girls: Oh my! Look at that hot guy over there! Like omigosh!

[rushes to Dren and tap his shoulders from the back]

Dren: wads up, babe?

Mean girls: oh its you! Nerdy dren? Nonono! Not anymore! you are hot! [ cling arms around his arms]

[ A director sees dren and stops him]

Director: you there! You look like you have eaten real dirt! Come be my actor for my new movie!

Dren: like totally okay. Cos I’m, HOT. But, I got kicked out of drama…

Director: but you ooze confidence! So celeb-like! Come, follow me! I’m making you my newest star!

HELLo 2gy im erm. horrified? by a FEW of your attitudes during sports day.subha has told me that some of you just left your gift boxes on the floor and let it get SQUASHED. i Dont think this is very funny you know. these gift boxes COST money. and since some of u wanted to BE "UNITED" this is the way to do it. unless of course you wanted to wear the box lid instead (cassi's idea) but of course majority of the class wanted to wear their own hats. SERIOUSLY. even if you dont want to wear or dont want or dont like the gift box, you shouldnt leave it on the floor to be trampled! is this an indirect way of saying: hey, im officially disowning this class. let it get trampled. HEYY EVERYONE!

so our mottos A GYFT TO YOU WITH LURVE rite?

so i got this idea for the tee. its kind of combining diff ppl's ideas, but i think itll turn out really nice!

you know cassis design? the one with the gift tag. saying 2GY, then at the bottom it says our motto. then below that, we could put jan's design! the one that has TWO GENEROSITY over a tangle of cute stuff. that could be the front.

cos if we just put cassis gift tag, it would be kinda plain and boring. heh no offense! : D so if we add jans tangle design thing, ITLL LOOK SO NICE! haha.

and the back, we could use sarahs design. we can put a nicely wrapped present, but its like ripped open at the top and the names are spewing out.

then can put: cos we're so powerful, we explode. beware. twogenerosity may be too explosive for you to take.

haha nono thats lame so scratch that. but i think itll be quite nice!

front: gift tag, then below is jans two generosity tangle.
back:present@ with names spewing out. oh and we can have a gift tag attached to the prez saying: watch out or sth.

just a suggestion for the class tee ... u know the rock band one right? [refer fo post b4 this] like have the band spilling out from an open present? then we can wirte like "our GYft from us to you" then we can write our names right at the bottom. then for the front can we put our motto at the bottom "to love to give. 2gy don't ask why. shhh" then can draw a girl going shhh withg her finger on her lips. then it's like can please majority people. coz if we DO choose this, we have the band coming out of the PRESENT and we have the girl going shhh to please the other people. =) if you don't like this idea then nvm. =)

this is just a temporary template till we finally get round to taking a class pic! so im gonna bring my cam everyday. when you guys feel like taking a class pic, hit me yea.
